Responding to her fans' demand, Nicole recorded her first full-length jazz CD, The Nearness of You, in 2003. Heat Beat magazine expressed, "The Nearness of You showcases Nicole's sultry, spiritual sensuality with sentiment beyond her years....(With) her crystal-clear diction and innate good sense for making a tune her own, Nicole's voice is one to listen for."

As a solo artist, Nicole has performed at two recent Miami Clear Channel concerts alongside Tower of Power and Bad to the Bone; she's performed with internationally renowned pianists Kenny Werner and Eddie Higgins; she sang at NYC's Hilton Hotel in an XM Satellite Radio sponsored concert with GRAMMY-Award winning arranger and horn player, Tom Scott, bassist Will Lee, pianist Leon Pendarvis, the original Blues Brothers Lou Merrini & Tom "Bones" Malone, where they opened for Joan Osborne; and has opened concerts for Broadway diva Jennifer Holliday. She receives airplay from WBGO-NY, WLVE, WLRN, WDNA-Miami, and 5 XM Satellite Radio channels. She performs special concerts and is also regularly featured at top music venues such as Jazid and O'Hara's, and maintains weekly schedules at "Miami's Best Jazz Club," Upstairs at the Van Dyke, as well as Miami Beach's beautiful Palms Hotel and Loew's Hotel. Nicole's repertoire ranges from jazz to pop to torch songs to inspirational ballads to R&B. Regardless of what the material, Nicole's "passion translates into something higher." For example, Nicole's soulful renditions of the National Anthem have also inspired thousands of NBA Miami Heat fans at the American Airlines Arena. Other corporate clientele include: Neiman Marcus, the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, Donald Pliner, Cristian Dior, UNITY Churches, NAACP, the Gay & Lesbain Foundation of South Florida, Motorola, Art Basel, and SunTrust Bank.

Nicole's professional music career started with dance music recordings that placed her on Billboard's Dance Music Charts for eight weeks in 1998. Various recordings are still heard today on European television and on 10 international dance music compilations, including Lazy Dog and Ministry of Sound. "Henry's voice is a revelation," says DJ Times, echoing the feelings of many who have witnessed Nicole's 'uplifting' and 'spiritual' live shows. Dance Music Authority declares, "The lady deserves the spotlight."

She recently performed during the 4th Annual Latin GRAMMYs on CBS, where her strong vocals and stage presence backed American Idol's Kelly Clarkson and Brazilian star Alexandre Pires.

Congruently, Nicole pursues an acting career and acting studies. Out of the many acting jobs Nicole's completed, her national television campaigns include Verizon Wireless, Amtrak, McDonald's with Venus & Serena Williams, Air Jamaica, and the newest, Hershey's Swoops and Sear's Optical and others. She was a lead actress in the feature-length, independent films, In Plain Sight and Chapters and Verse, and in a 4-part pilot of a children's television series, The Lemonade Stand, aired on select U.S. stations. Nicole also starred in the independent short film Miami Chronicles sponsored by the Independent Film Channel. Her acting, narration, modeling and hosting talents can also be found in association with Office Depot, Royal Caribbean, Rite Aid Pharmacies, MARS Candy, Black & Decker, The Miami Herald, Publix, In Store Networks, Harbor Bay Clothing, North Broward Hospital, Today's Man, Burdine's, El Dorado Furniture, Florida Power, Florida SunPass and more. As a stage actress, Nicole has performed at such venues as the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Playhouse at Miracle Theater and the Ring Theater.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Nicole Henry attended the University of Miami on a full academic scholarship, and there she earned a B.S. in Communication with a double major in Theater Performance.
