MASTERPLAN is a six-piece international touring show band from Vancouver, specializing in Top 40, R&B, Pop and Dance music, encompassing the hit songs of today with the classics of yesteryear. First and foremost 'a band that plays covers' as opposed to 'a cover band,' MASTERPLAN believes there is a difference and is keen to make this distinction.

The group's original members, Joe Bashorun (keyboards, co - bandleader), Carrie Gibson (lead vocals, co - bandleader) and Bryn Baxter (guitar, saxophone) have been working extensively touring the Southeast Asia and Middle East circuit in various groups for a number of years. The range of venues that they have primarily performed in include nightclubs at the Grand Hyatt, Sheraton, Shangri-La, and Crowne Plaza hotel chains.

MASTERPLAN was originally formed in 2004, but after a proposed contract was cancelled in Phuket due to the devastation of the tsunami in Southeast Asia, the band had to leave the region. After a brief hiatus and some changes in personnel, MASTERPLAN have regrouped and are back to rock the stage once more with the addition of dynamic male vocalist Yogi Rose; long-time friend 'Jingles' playing bass; and newest member Giuliano Francella on drums.

The individual members of the band are widely regarded as some of the top musicians and singers within the music industry - and now they have come together to join forces as MASTERPLAN - wowing audiences with their high energy stage show, slick choreography and authentic renditions of your favorite songs. The band prides itself on its showmanship, musicianship, and entertainment value, creating a party atmosphere wherever it performs. Soaring, soulful vocals, blistering instrumental solos and a tight funky rhythm section all go towards making an evening with MASTERPLAN a night to remember.
