Lorraine Lawson was born to sing and has been living her dream of touching people with her voice. It has been this undeniable talent that captivates audiences of all ages. Lorraine Lawson's hit pop single, "If I Could", made her a household name in Canada. She has appeared on such National television programs as "Canada AM," and "OpenMike with Mike Bullard" (CTV/Comedy Network). The National Post called her "Canada's Mariah Carey."
Most recently, Lorraine released a brand new CD of familiar Jazz and Pop standards entitled, Quiet Nights. This intimate and sultry CD will be available in over 20 different countries around the world.
As a performer, Lorraine has entertained throughout North America and Asia. She proudly entertained the Canadian Armed Forces as part of a Northern Show Tour. Lorraine also performed in Beijing, China in 1999. Lorraine has also performed for numerous corporate and private events including Compaq, Nissan, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and many more. Lorraine is a regular guest vocalist at Toronto’s Air Canada Center where she sings the National Anthems for both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors.
