John Guthery is a veteran vocalist/musician based in Seattle, Washington. He is a "multi-boardist" who uses traditional and state-of-the-art instruments (piano, organ, synthesizer, sequencer) to bridge the gap between standard and contemporary music. His repertoire includes all types of music: jazz, classical, contemporary pop, oldies, rhythm & blues standards, show tunes, and his own original material.

John's degree in music theory and composition served him well as a high school music teacher and band director, and as leader of several music groups. Currently a solo performer, he has entertained audiences all over the world in hotels, nightclubs, and on cruise ships.
